Much as it's nice to be back in bonny Scotland, I will admit to feeling a bit of a droop.
This time last week I was about to go and have a swim at the outdoor pool in Street, where I sat with my book and soaked up the sun.
Today I'm sitting with jeans and a fleece, my walking boots and thick socks......it's COLD.
I guess we are very much on the way home, and after all this planning, and build up, I cant help feeling a real sadness that it will be over this time next week.
Tonight will be the "last supper" for us as a three before Gordon, Collette and Susan arrive tomorrow.
We've had a great time and a right laugh, even in the really hard bits.
Every single place we have stayed has been lovely and I'm sure tonight at Culzean will be no exception.
Sheila, we love to read your extensive list of challenges.....what do you think I'm doing with myself all day?
More to the point, what on earth are you doing all day??
I have some time today to get working on them.
And.....for those who are interested in my punctuation.....I hope this was to your satisfaction!!
See Ya
Shaz

Your punctuation seems fine, or are we seeing the corrected version?
ReplyDeleteUndaunted by your somewhat hurtful remarks, I have prepared some more challenges for you.
1. What is the name of Ayr United's ground?
2. Who won the first Open Golf Championship played at Prestwick in 1860?
3. What does C Gulls(I kid you not!) in Troon sell?
4. Which leading politicians in the Scottish Parliament were born in Irvine?
5. Take a photo of the old Toll Road milestone, near the North Beach, Ardrossan
6. Which Viking King lost at the Battle of Largs in 1263?
7.Who will host the Homecoming Disco, the opening event of Wemyss Bay Gala Weekend, on 12th June?
8.Who do you hope to meet up with in Gourock and who may show more interest in the daily challenges?
9.Name either of the two submarines lost in the Holy Loch during WW2 exercises?
Well, that should keep you going?
Punctuation is much better, but here's another challenge for you:
ReplyDeleteHow many dots form an ellipsis?
